Planting has begun!

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

We have begun planting our Fraser fir and balsam fir, white pine and Canaan fir Christmas trees. This is, by far, the earliest we have planted Christmas trees. The weather has been beautiful, an early Spring has sprung in Wisconsin.

If you are looking for the finest Christmas trees, look no further! Hanauer’s Tree Farms has what you are looking for. Contact Dan or Julie at 715-526-6523. You will reach an actual person, no message maze to wade through. Let us know what you need and we will be happy to put together an order for you.

It’s no too early to start thinking about your 2010 Christmas tree order. Enjoy the beautiful weather.

The Christmas tree farm is waking up!

Monday, March 15th, 2010

The Christmas tree farm is waking up! Spring is on the way, I can feel it! The temperature was up near 60 degrees today. The spring thaw is on the way. Our Christmas trees are looking wonderful. The balsam, Fraser, Canaan, scotch pine, Colorado blue spruce, white spruce and white pine look beautiful as I gaze across the road on our main tree farm.

Plans are in the works for spring planting. Now that the winter has all but left, we are anxious to get out into the fields and begin the work that will ultimately lead to the finest cut Christmas trees you will find anywhere, period.

Our Fraser fir prices are coming down. More information on this in the near future.

Enjoy the lovely weather but think Christmas!
